No matter the season, there's no shortage of outdoor art exhibitions here. First Fridays in Florence is a street fair that happens on the first Friday of every month. There's live music, and the local galleries and gift shops stay open late, adding an extra bonus to the festival atmosphere. There's also the University of West Alabama Sculpture Exhibition in Livingston, where contemporary artists showcase their outdoor sculptures. And be sure to check out Vulcan's 103rd Birthday Bash in Birmingham on June 3, where the cities world-famous iconic iron man will be honored with arts, crafts and entertainment for the entire family. |
